If you know me, you know that I am in love with Freshly Picked moccasins. They are, by far, the best baby shoes I have found.
Let me back track a little bit and go back to when Jane, who is now almost a year and a half, was a little bitty baby. She was born in the middle of winter and hated socks. In fact, she still does. I always had people telling me to keep her feet warm, but I chose to pick my battles and not fight her to wear socks. When she was about 8 months old I stumbled upon this cute little soft-soled leather moccasin. I couldn’t resist giving them a try. To my surprise Jane actually kept in on her feet. Not only did she keep it on, but she seemed to like them.
When Jane started pulling up and walking the moccasins were the perfect shoes because they allowed her feet to be protected, but still let her figure out how to balance and stand, the way only soft soled shoes can. Now that she is running Jane still loves to wear her little moccasins. I don’t let her wear them when she will be doing hard playing on the playground, but they are the shoes she picks to wear any other time, including our evening walk around the block.
The moccasins are all hand made in the USA with 100% genuine leather. They are available in a variety of colors; the hardest part is trying to decide which pair to buy. At $60 a pair they are a little pricey, but this is one of those times it is worth it to spend the money. They are incredibly durable, even the pair Jane runs around in these days is holding up very well.
I really can’t say enough good things about this company and their product. If you buy these moccasins for your little one, you will not be disappointed!
