MantraBand Bracelet ($25)
Rating: Trust It!
I can't say enough good things about these bracelets. They're a combination of all the right things you want in a bracelet you can wear everyday: thin, light, adjustable, stylishly silver, with an inspiring message of your choice (and many to choose from!). Yet another great find at one of my favorite outposts, frock boutique in Asheville, North Carolina, I chose one of these simple silver bracelets with the reminder to "be here now" (to combat my personal struggle to stay "present"... always a work in progress...). They're small enough to be paired with other pieces without looking too bulky, but I love wearing mine solo on my wrist and its the perfect compliment to the platinum band on my diamond engagement ring.
Oh! And did I mention that they refuse to tarnish? That's right! The shininess does not disappear with the tribulations of everyday wear (sweat, water, soap, friction, etc.), thanks to the hypoallergenic, tarnish resistant nickel and lead-free stainless steel that the bracelet is made of. But if silver isn't your jam, they also have every bracelet available in gold, that are comprised of the same materials of the silver however are coated with 18k gold (I can't comment on the duration of the gold plating, but if they're anything like the silvers you should be well satisfied).
To sum it up, I don't see what else you could want in a staple piece of jewelry, and from a company that promotes an uplifted and inspired state of being. To top it off, MantraBand is a generous supporter of Girls for a Change, a national organization that empowers girls to create social change. Walking the walk, talking the talk.
.... as worn by Katherine Hanson.
