Moms on Call (prices vary)

Rating: Trust It!

In the early days of being a new Mom I did everything I said I would not do.  And fretting over every last thing baby-related is no exception.

To calm my new mommy jitters, Moms On Call (aka "MOC") has been an extremely helpful tool for me during the first year of my daughter’s life. I was trying to be successful at nursing (which wasn’t going well) while just staying afloat in everyday life raising this little creature. None of those things were working in my favor. I remember sending a text to my hip mom friend asking her how in the world she nursed for so long. She told me about MOC, whose website, mobile phone application, and other materials specializes in helping moms their baby on a schedule that promotes great sleep and improves the feeding experience.

I am not saying that this is a cure all for your sleepless nights but it can serve as a good guideline which is what I used it for. I also think it is important to do what works best for you and your child. There is no right or wrong way to parent.

I started with the MOC app. It helped me have a guideline for a schedule. Let me remind you I am a rookie Mom and I had no idea what I was doing. After I started using the MOC schedule my life and my daughter’s life got a lot better. Having a schedule worked very well for us.

The books are super helpful because they contain useful everyday information that a rookie mom like me found very useful. They have tips on starting baby food, illness, etc. I recommend at least getting the books and the app.

And if that wasn't enough, MOC also does house calls in the Atlanta area (their home base)!
